Is an original work by playwright David Owen Michaels.
is a story that needs to be told today. It allows the audience to live this history by transporting them into that charged and divided time. The show takes one of the most tragic moments of our country’s history and shows what can happen when radicalization leads to violent ends. Infamous is also an allegory for our modern time that echos Lincoln’s call for freedom amidst this presently divided nation and world. This show asks you to look inside yourself and examine your own conceptions of freedom and how that freedom translates into being an American.

“Infamous the Musical” is a full-length edge of your seat thriller that recounts the events leading toward Abraham Lincoln’s assassination and the subsequent manhunt that gripped the nation during the days that followed. These historical anecdotes are interwoven in the framework of the musical in beautifully crafted melodies, epic songs and strong dynamic dialogue. While we have all studied this event in school, rarely do we get an opportunity to uncover the underpinnings and motivations that were set in motion to create this horrible tragedy.
